School Keepsake Art Project

A Fun, Easy & Rewarding Art Project

Design your own commemorative tea towel featuring the drawings of all the children in your preschool or grade. Older students and graduating grades can print class lists, quotes, sayings and signatures. Your school may want to run an art competition, with the winner’s work being used as the design for the tea towel. Home economics and textile study classes can design their own tea towels using favourite recipes or clothes designs.

Treasured as a very special student art project keepsake, they can also be sold as profitable school / PAC fundraising items.

Priceless Works of Art

Custom tea towels are a perfect gift for friends, grandparents, aunts and other relatives, and hostesses. They make great gifts for many special holidays:

Comments from Class Art Project Organizers

"We love our tea towels! I just love the fabric. You can really feel the quality! We're looking forward to folding them tomorrow and getting them ready to give for Mother's Day.

- Ridgeview Elementary School Kindergarten class, West Vancouver May 2009

"The tea towels were a big hit with our families. They bought them as gifts for aunts, grandparents and as keepsakes for themselves. We will continue to provide this fun, creative class keepsake for our future families."

- The Playschool, West Vancouver, BC

"It is a wonderful way to provide the kids with a keepsake for their school, as well as being a very special gift for family and friends. We made some of our tea towels into a quilt, and raised $1,700 from it at the annual auction. It now looks fabulous hanging in the school hallway."

- Ecole Pauline Johnson, West Vancouver, BC
